Identity and Values of our club
The PSG Club NYC was founded on February 4th, 2006 as a number of Paris Saint-Germain fans watched Saint-Etienne v. PSG at Nevada Smiths, the club’s first home in the East Village. It was then that we realized our passion for a soccer team from the most magnificent city in the world could only be met by the creation of a supporters club in the City That Never
Sleeps!
As the first supporters club in the Americas, we are an officially recognized supporters club of PSG with the goal of supporting our team both in the Big Apple at the legendary Football Factory in Midtown NYC as well as away from home, whether that be on the road or at the Parc des Princes. Since its creation, the club has continued to grow with the support from fans all over the United States as well as around the globe, as we bring together hundreds of
fans for the big games.
In addition to supporting PSG, fans who have previously joined us at the Football Factory can attest to the club’s unique culture and atmosphere on game day as many of the club’s founding members are lifelong PSG supporters that bring with them an Ultras mentality. With this comes a strict set of values that we have upheld since Day 1 – ensure a lively atmosphere by singing, chanting and supporting our team for 90 minutes, but just as importantly ensuring that all fans, regardless of their race, gender, background or beliefs, are welcome to join us. To put it bluntly, any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. And so we welcome any fans that share this inclusive mindset to become members and come watch a game with us, ideally over a few pints.
